そんな “成熟した大人がたしなむ、ご近所の散策/ポタリング、そして旅のスタイル” です。単なる「歴史散策」・「城跡巡り」「温泉旅」も一歩踏み出せば、「大人散策」に昇華します。
このページでは、そんな「大人散策」の “楽しみ方” や “哲学” 、そしてブログ全体の世界観をご紹介します。

A “Sophisticated Stroll” isn’t just a walking trip…
It’s about learning about history and culture, taking in the local nature and atmosphere, savoring the lingering memories, and expanding your imagination —
It’s“a style of strolling/pottering around the neighborhood and traveling enjoyed by mature adults.” If you take a step further, a simple “historical stroll,” “castle ruins tour,” or “hot spring trip” can be elevated to a “sophisticated stroll.”
On this page, we’ll introduce the “enjoyment” and “philosophy” behind “Sophisticated Strolls” as well as the worldview of this blog as a whole.

本ブログでは、「大人散策の定義」を『「知的欲求」を机上だけではなく、フィールドワーク/City Walkを通じ、楽しみながら満たす事』としております。個々の記事では「知的欲求」にフォーカスしたもの、「散策その物」に主観を置いたもの、「楽しむ事」に欠かせない温泉やレストラン情報と言った記事がありますが、

「大人散策」＝「知的好奇心」×「フィールドワーク」×「楽しむ事」の「三位一体の楽しみ方」です。

今少し分解しますと、以下のイメージです。

“Sophisticated Strolling” = “a trinity of enjoyment”: “intellectual curiosity”, “fieldwork”, and “having fun”.

Breaking it down a bit, it looks like this:

実際の散策にあたっては、ただ単にその場所に行くだけではなく、歴史上の人物や出来事、その場所の特徴的な地形、神社仏閣・庭園巡りにおいて知っておきたい個々の背景等、特定した「トピック」と「その基本情報」を認識しておくと、「ただの散策」が、「大人散策」に昇華する認識です。
以下、本ブログの内容を全て網羅できている訳ではありませんが、下記マトリックス表で、本ブログで取り扱う内容の大枠(タグ：WikiSeries)を抑えられると思いますので、併せてご参照ください。

「大人散策」は、現地に赴き、自身の五感で感じ、想像を膨らませる事で、更なる発展を遂げます。
ある城跡に、実際に脚を運ぶなら、その城郭のかつての城主や歴史的なイベント、お城の建つ地形を、知識だけではなく自身の五感で感じる事で、その城郭に付き、「人として生きた理解(＝腑に落ちる感？ or 時には疑問？)」を実感できるはずです。
古道や昔からの街道を歩けば、歴史上の有名人に思いを馳せる事が出来ると同時に、「何故この古道・街道が、ここに通されたのか？、何故今は無くなってしまったのか？」と言った事を想像できると思います。
そしてこれは、日常の生活圏でも感じる事が出来るでしょうし、旅に出掛けても同様です。しかし、普段の生活圏から出た旅のケースであれば、「その地域の魅力；温泉や郷土料理」も楽しむ事が、「大人散策の嗜み」だと思う次第です。

A “Sophisticated Stroll” can be further developed by visiting the site, experiencing it with your five senses, and expanding your imagination.
If you actually visit a castle ruin, you can learn about the castle’s former lords, historical events, and the terrain on which it stands with your five senses, rather than just gaining knowledge. By experiencing it with your five senses, you should be able to gain a “real-life understanding” of the castle (= a sense of understanding? Or sometimes questions?).
Walking along ancient roads and old highways will allow you to think about famous historical figures, and at the same time, you’ll be able to imagine questions like, “Why was this ancient road or highway built here? Why has it disappeared now?”
You can feel this in your everyday life, and the same is true when you go on a trip. However, when traveling outside your usual sphere, I think that enjoying the local attractions, such as hot springs and local cuisine, is also part of the “taste of a Sophisticated Strolls“.

つまり「大人散策」は、「知的好奇心」を満たす事だけでは、完遂せず、「フィールドワーク」だけでも完遂しない。言い換えれば『「大人散策は、「知的好奇心」を満たし、現地に赴き「自身の五感で感じ・考える」事で完遂する「成熟した大人の嗜み」』と思っている次第です。そしてその「大人散策」を更に楽しませてくれるのが「温泉」や「美味しい食事」。これらを全て含んでこその「大人散策」だとも思う次第ですので、『「大人散策の定義」＝「知的欲求を机上だけではなく、フィールドワーク/City Walkを通じ、楽しみながら満たす！」』という事になるといったご理解を頂けますと幸いです。

In other words, a “Sophisticated Stroll” cannot be completed by simply satisfying one’s “intellectual curiosity,” nor can it be completed by just “fieldwork.” In other words, I believe that “a Sophisticated Strolls is a “pastime for mature adults” that is completed by satisfying one’s “intellectual curiosity,” going to the local area, and “feeling and thinking with one’s five senses.” What makes a “Sophisticated Strolls” even more enjoyable are “hot springs” and “delicious food.” I believe that a “Sophisticated Strolls” is one that includes all of these, so I hope you will understand that the definition of a “Sophisticated Strolls” is “satisfying one’s intellectual desires not just at a desk, but through fieldwork/city walks while having fun!”

つまり「大人散策」は、「映える旅」や「若者向け観光」とは違い、「ただの城巡り・温泉巡り」とも違う「知識・体験・想像力(妄想緑)の三位一体を楽しむ、成熟した大人の散策/旅」とも言って良いのでないかと思います。

In other words, “Sophisticated Strolls are different from “photogenic trips” or “tourism for young people,” and are not just “touring castles or hot springs,” but can also be described as “strolls/trips for mature adults who enjoy the trinity of knowledge, experience, and imagination (imaginary greenery).”
